How does Cloud Computing work?

There are a lot of companies that provide services for cloud computing in Switzerland. Before knowing how cloud computing works, one needs to know what it is. Cloud is just a kind of a replacement of the internet, hence cloud computing means the place of resource, software, and information sharing through servers on the internet.

Cloud computing majorly are of three types SaaS (Software as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service). SaaS is one of the majorly used cloud services, which helps to create software accessible for apps and online web browser. Some examples of SaaS are Salesforce, Dropbox, or Google Docs. PaaS is a cloud service supporting web app development and deployment. Their services also include development tools, middleware, and business intelligence solutions. Examples of PaaS clouds are Windows Azure, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, and Google App Engine. IaaS includes basic computer infrastructure capabilities like data storage, servers, and hardware in the cloud. Some examples of IaaS cloud are DigitalOcean, Amazon EC2, and Google Compute Engine.

Now, the question arises that how does cloud computing work? For a better understanding of the functioning of cloud computing, let’s divide cloud computing into two sections: frontend and backend. The frontend is the storage for client’s related services that have access to the storage of the client’s data. And, the backend is responsible for storing data and information with security. The backend server data storage includes servers, computers, databases, and central servers.

Cloud computing follows three delivery models or has three characteristics that are public, private, and hybrid models. The public model is the common players and can be accessed anywhere with the basic login credentials. Also, the private model has the same features as the public model except it needs the infrastructure to be accessed that needs to be provided by the company. The private model also gives a little more security due to restricted access and also because companies have the management facility. Whereas, the hybrid is a combination of both and shares the resources via a link.

Cloud computing also has some benefits like it reduces on-site IT staff, it is cost-effective, it provides the facility of backup and disaster recovery is a shared responsibility model, good in performance, and it is reliable as well.

There is a lot of cloud service provider but one of the most reliable cloud providers in Switzerland is EsnNoc. They have the best suitable cloud services which are also affordable. EstNoc already has a lot of happy and satisfied clients for all of their services.
