New Estonain VPS offers with 100% SSD Storage

We, at EstNOC, came out with the new and improved VPS packages in Estonia. Literally, every vps comes with 100% pure SSD storage that is also Hardware Raid-10 protected. On top of that, there is BBU (battery backup unit) to guarantee fast cache memory. This makes the whole data reading and writing process a lot faster.
The smallest package, we call it as Starter package, is coming with 5GB SSD storage space, 256MB guaranteed ram, 50Mbit uplink speed and it costs only 5euros per month on quarterly commitment. Everyone can find the package to cover their needs. If you somehow don’t find the package you would like, we can tailor it for you.

About the hardware we use for our Estonian VPS nodes. The whole system is based on HP c7000 blade centre, HP ProLiant BL460 G6 and newer server blades and storages. Why is it good? Well, the thing is, HP c7000 blade centre have literally everything already built in, in redundant: fans, power suppliers, network switches etc. In case something stops working, for example, power supply or fan, the system will continue to work anyway. There are 10 fans and 6 psu’s. Each server blade, comes with 2x Intel Xeon E5650 processor units. Each unit have 6 cores and 12 threads. Also, each blade have at least 32 GB ram memory and is connected with 1 Gbit uplinks.
Now about our networking. We are directly connected to Level3 and Lattelecom networks which makes it redundant multi-homed infrastructure. In case one of our peering links goes down, in few seconds the whole system will continue to work on second peering. We have covered the most of the Russian Federation and Belarus through the Lattelecom network and Scandinavia, Europe covered with Level3 network. For example, ping between our network and Saint-Petersburg, Russia is ca 20ms, and Moscow city ping is ca 40ms and Tomsk 72-85ms. Ping between us and Italy is ca 55-65ms, Netherlands 35-40ms, Germany 40-45ms, and so on. These tests are illustrative and may differ from network usage and peak times.
